Controversy is brewing online after influencer VeryDarkMan and singer Seun Kuti reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, fuelling speculation of a growing rift between the two public figures.
The development comes amid VeryDarkMan’s ongoing legal dispute involving Blord Group, a situation that has already generated heated discussions across social media platforms.
Tensions appeared to escalate further after Seun Kuti made a comment perceived by some of VeryDarkMan’s supporters as supportive of activist Omoyele Sowore. The reaction triggered backlash from the influencer’s online fanbase, popularly known as “Ratel.”
In a now-viral Instagram story, Seun Kuti appeared to mock the group, writing: “You are rats, not ratels. Why una dey disguise?”
While the exact cause of the fallout remains unclear, the development has intensified online debates, with fans on both sides trading accusations and interpretations of the exchange.
