Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated four students of Osun State University who achieved First Class honours in the Nigerian Law School’s final Bar Examination.
The governor made the announcement on Friday via his official X account, describing the feat as a proud moment for the state and its education sector.
The outstanding graduates are Faith Oluwaseun Adeniyi, Boluwatife Blessing Rotimi, Chisom Joan Aliri, and Hannah Timilehin Alalade.
Adeleke attributed their success to ongoing reforms and sustained investments by his administration in educational infrastructure and learning conditions across the state.
“This remarkable achievement is a strong testament to the impact of our sustained investments in educational infrastructure and an enabling learning environment,” he said.
He highlighted key projects completed under his administration, including the reconstruction of the previously abandoned road leading to the College of Law in Ifetedo, as well as the construction of a modern 1,000-capacity lecture theatre complex.
“From the reconstruction of the previously abandoned road leading to the College of Law, Ifetedo, to the construction of a modern 1,000-capacity lecture theatre complex, we remain committed to supporting academic excellence,” he added.
The governor also extended his commendation to the institution and the wider Osun community, praising their role in nurturing academic excellence.
“I congratulate the students, the College of Law, the management of Osun State University, and the good people of Osun State on this proud milestone,” he said.
He concluded with an optimistic note about the state’s progress, stating, “Indeed, Osun is progressing.”
