According to DIP Connects Online News, over 1.5 million of the 1,955,069 candidates who sat for the exam scored below 200. The data, released by JAMB on Monday, revealed that only 420,415 candidates scored above 200, accounting for just 25% of total candidates, while fewer than 1% scored above 300.

In the accompanying statement, JAMB noted that “40,247 underage candidates were permitted to demonstrate their exceptional abilities. However, only 467 of them (1.16%) met the threshold for exceptional ability. Their performance in the next three stages is still pending.”
