Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed in a post on his X account on Sunday that, “Despite agreement between club to club with Napoli for €75m fee, Osimhen says no to the Saudi Pro League club. Galatasaray will insist on signing him with the race now open again.”
Osimhen, who spent a highly successful loan spell at Turkish champions Galatasaray, scored an impressive 37 goals in 41 appearances. His goal-scoring form has made him a key figure at the club and a fan favorite. Galatasaray is now expected to step up its efforts to secure the Nigerian striker on a permanent basis.
UNCH Online had earlier reported that Al Hilal were close to finalizing Osimhen’s transfer, having matched Napoli’s €75 million valuation and were preparing for the player’s medicals. However, with Osimhen’s refusal to make the move, the transfer remains in limbo.
